Ordered some bali blinds for our bedroom through this home depot. Had to repeat our request for a specific light blocking shade several times before the sales person seemed to understand and assured us the information had been entered. When they came they were NOT light blocking, allowing people to see through into our bedroom. The 'final order' which we approved was full of confusing jargon- if you order through them make sure they repeat and visually show you where every detail matches what you need. hire people who care about service, fire your wood buyer
Their delivery service is horrible. Subcontracted out, they lie to buyers and make excuses. They were supposed to be here Thursday with a dishwasher and called to say the driver left the lights on in the truck and it died so they couldn't deliver it. So then rescheduled for Saturday. Saturday they called and said they couldn't get the back of their truck open so they couldn't deliver it. SPENT HOURS ORDERING BLINDS BECAUSE THEIR EMPLOYEE THAT WE WERE WORKING WITH HAD TO LEAVE OF GET IN TROUBLE FOR BEING ON OVERTIME - FINALLY GET ORDERED HAVING TO RE-EXPLAIN EVERYTHING....PRESTIGE INSTALLATION CALLED FROM VANCOUVER AND BASICALLY TOLD ME TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT ON TIME. The Vissani refrigerator that I bought less than 2 years ago (1 year warrenty) just spontaneously lost all of it's freon, and I have finally learned the lesson that the deal you think you're getting at Home Depot is just another way to make them richer and the average person poorer. Plus, because the appliance is built to be impossible to work on (plastic) it's another hunk of trash in an already trash filled world.
