Multiple things went wrong on my most recent visit to Home Depot on 41st and Sheridan. Topsoil in my basket apparently smelled like tar and I didn't know it, so employees took my basket when I was away for a few minutes and put the 7-8 items I had back on the shelves. So had to re-shop. I asked an employee were paint primer was, he said next aisle, but when I finally found it, it was exactly where the employee had been standing. Recommendedless than 3 miles from my house
I suggest not using your credit/debit card. Only Cash! My card was breached, luckily my bank took care of it. This has happened to numerous people that I know
REALLY DIDNT APPRECIATE THE GREY HAIR LADY WITH A BRAIDED PONY TAIL YELLING AT ME TO GET OUT AND GO IN OTHER DOORS A FEW MINUTES AGO. SHE WAS SCREAMING IN EVERYONES FACES
Guess they don’t want to bring out any online orders to your car you have to go in all the spots to park for pick up are roped off? What sense does that make? Very rude employees also inside telling me I have to touch their card readers no I don’t I’ve already paid you’ve seen my id don’t get why even have spots for pick up when you can’t use them?
Home Depot carpet sales, install and repair is a joke. It's been a two to three month process for install and three repair visits. Carpet seam was horrible. Carpet was short, then stretched which caused a rip at the edge (about an inch). Horrible communication with me. No contact info for corporate. Save a headache and go to Lowe's.
I prefer the 11th and Elgin Home Depot location, but I have had positive experiences at the 44th and Sheridan store also. All the guys at both stores have always been extremely helpful. Maybe it’s coz I’m somewhat of an old lady, but everyone has always given me good information and instructions about the projects I’ve done. The downtown location is actually larger and has a bigger selection of certain things, but both stores are generally well-stocked.
