I have been waiting 2 months for carpet to be installed in my home. Today they call and say its going to be another month because they "can't get to us" There is absolutely no reason they cannot get to us. We are a straight shot on the interstate from their location. I will be doing all of my home repairs with Lowe's from this day forward.
Their generator contractor from baton rouge (valentine electrical) is no good. took 3 weeks to get a price and was way over priced. Got a bigger Genrac Generator for 5000.00 cheaper from Lowes. Lowes came over and had me a awesome price in less then 10 minutes for a 24kw Generator not a 22kw that valentine (Home Depot Contractor) was trying to force me to buy when I wanted a 24kw. Do not use home depot for a whole house generator use Lowes in Sulphur.
they do not support our troops or veterans.. local manager is not following corpate policy ...shame

I ordered a new fridge online and when the delivery men came to install it, we ran into an issue with getting the fridge in the house and into the kitchen. The two gentlemen that came, worked very hard to get the issues resolved. I didn't catch their names but they were top notch!
Associates are knowledgeable and polite.
Staff is rude, lazy, and apparently there is only one person who knows anything. I bought a compressor from Home Depot. Not only did it not work,(brand new in the box) they then told me it would be 4 days until they could help. I had to wait 30 minutes the other day just to get someone to get a key so I could buy a drill, and of course they just made excuses about the key. Maybe if they didn’t have 6 people sitting in chairs by each entrance and exit more customers could be helped in a timely fashion.
Moving! Ordered a fridge Monday for Friday delivery. Got the receipt! Said they’d call Thursday to give us a 4 hr window. Thursday comes and goes, no call, so we call first thing Friday morning! “A glitch in the system” is their excuse and they can’t get us the fridge until next weekend! Fridgeless in my new home for a WEEK!!!! No calls, no emails, no SMS, NOTHING to notify me ahead of time. Spent an hour on the phone ordering it, now another 2 hours to resolve their mess up!!!
