Great service, friendly worker's, great location
Hey #lowes do you have a problem with breastfeeding? Apparently this home depot does and I need to find a new place to take my business.
Today, I bought an American flag @ Home Depot in Crescent Springs, Ky. When I asked if I could receive a veteran's discount, I was asked to show my ID. I presented my Kentucky driver's license which clearing states "VETERAN" since I provided the state with a copy of my DD214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty) when renewing my license. It's a law that breastfeeding mothers can nurse wherever and whenever they want. Truly disappointed that a manager suggested a customer nurse her baby in the bathroom :( you need to better train and educate your staff on laws.
I am so disappointed that a manager would suggest that a mother nurse her child in an unsanitary bathroom. Telling a mother that she should cover or go elsewhere is a violation of her rights, as there are laws that protect a woman's right to breastfeed wherever she is allowed to be. Neither myself, nor any of my friends and family will be patronizing this location until they offer an apology to this mother who has identified herself in the reviews AND offer a plan detailing how they will better handle situations like this in... read more
Terribly disappointed that a manager at this store broke the law and treated a woman disrespectfully by telling her to 'cover up or go to the restroom' to breastfeed her child. We will be shopping at lowes from now on and reaching out to corporate to let them know they need to train their employees better. Doubly unacceptable that it was a manager!
Great place to buy mulch and screws and things like that.
