This Home depot took advantage of an elderly customer of mine. She purchased over 10 thousand dollars of Thomasville cabinets and they came delivered broken and missing parts. When confronting store manager Josh, he said there is nothing they can do for her. She wanted to send them back because the quality is junk and happens to be Home depots top of the line. I am a disabled woman in a electric wheel chair and I can not walk at all . I am a veteran with minimal use of my arms and hands, I also only have one eye. I went to home Depot today and I asked for some help getting my order ready , I asked four people for help getting a 500.00 dollars order. Order a toliet and had plumber install. Noticed a little water on floor in about 1 week. Had plumber come three times to check finally found small crack in tank causing seepage. Ordered new toliet and tried to return factory damaged one and Home Depot told me do not take stuff back that is installed. Could not see crack when installed but got worse. It is a factory defect and they refuse to make it right.
Do not work with these people for kitchen counters or cabinets. They bait and switch you. They give you a low quote and have you pay in full then when they send someone out to measure they claim that the quote is incorrect and try to charge you much more. In our case that was over $1700 more. Go deal with a reputable local company and don’t waste your time here. Corporate Scam Artists!
So good to see a store that has good, friendly and helpful customer service. I did have to wait a little while, but was a busy time. I don’t mind a wait for good service.
The Bed-Sty location is an absolute piece of garbage. Their staff are incompetent and hate their jobs. Their supplies are 3rd rate garbage. Both their phillips head screws and drill bits strip very easily because the metal they use is garbage. I purchased a pressure treated handrail for pick up and the piece was warped badly (a 6ft. handrail had a middle over 3/4" out of allignment from the edges!)
