I understand people make mistakes. But when a mistake is made an apology should be offered not asked for. Nothing like buying a gallon of mixed paint and the employee not putting the top back on correctly. Again - I know people make mistakes but it took too long for a manager to come over and at that point I had to tell her that no one had said sorry. Home Depot is the worst!!! I bought a screen door for my mom 6 weeks ago. I have been waiting for it to be installed. The installer has cancelled 4 times. The installer (Jamie) said he would be at my house in 45 minutes. He never showed up or had the decency to call. DO NOT Buy anything from Home Depot they don't follow through with promises. Needless to say I still do not have my door installed. Will be going back to get a FULL REFUND and will never purchase anything else from Home Depot again!
We made an appointment with the kitchen designer. She was almost an hour late for the appointment. When she arrived she was not apologetic, nor ready to get to work. Twice I said we just want to get to work on these cabinets. She said we were rude. We asked to speak to the manager. She and the other clerk went around the corner. No manager appeared after ten minutes. We found them standing in front of the restrooms talking. We got the assistant manager ourselves and explained why we could not get our cabinets there. Don't buy at Home Depot. They do not give all the Veterans a discount, only active. LOWES GIVE ALL VETERANS A DISCOUNT.....BUY AT LOWES. 10%.
