Our family is very disappointed in the Home Depot Clay NY location. We ordered a dryer that was supposed to be installed in our home on the 30th of September. We received no phone call confirming delivery on that day so I called the store to be told the dryer would not be coming and instead would be delivered on the 8th of October over a week later. Had the dryer been installed on the date I was given I was home and had disconnected and moved the old dryer for them to my garage for an easy pick up and install of new dryer. B... read more
I’ll be sure to take my business else where from now on. I placed an order last night, received a conformation email. Just to receive a voice mail at 11:20am that the store has sold out of them that morning and they cancelled my order. When my wife called to see if they could have one sent from another location to their location she was told “We don’t do store to store transfers. We sold out of the one you ordered this morning. On May 21 I went to Home Depot in Clay to order bags of mulch. I went to the Garden Center, and there was a long and slow moving line to check out. After about a 15 minute wait in line, the teller said I cannot order mulch here (Garden Center). I need to go to Customer Service. Went to customer service and ordered 55 bags to be delivered, and was told the earliest delivery would be May 27. On May 27 I called Home Depot and asked when my order will be delivered. Requesting papers for a dog by an employee is against ADA. Shopping with my dog hassle free has always been a draw to your store. To refuse a well mannered dog at your door having an employee go against ADA requesting papers is extremely poor customer service to say the least.
They refused to let me in the store for an exchange even though they did not close for another 15 minutes. Ridiculous! I will go across the street to Lowe’s! Lowe’s just gained a loyal customer!!!
