They are terrible.... Customer service is non existant
had a very bad experience with customer service today. No sense of urgency from employees...
Bought a washer 3 weeks ago. Yesterday, it stopped draining. I called them, then GE and GE told me to call them, so I called Home Depot again, and they told me that if I returned the washer, they would charge me a restocking fee. For a washer I've had for three weeks and that no longer works? WTH We also bought a 5 year warranty on it, but I suppose that was useless. Might as well have just thrown the money for that out on the highway.
I'm usually good with the service, good staff most times, but I don't like the policy where you have to leave the cashier where you just bought something and go to customer service to get something refunded on your receipt. Most places can just call a manager and they can avoid the item, but I have to go stand in another line for another half hour to get a refund on something I had just bought . The worst experience with these ppl. I ordered sheetrock and insoluation and I paid the extra money to get my material delivered inside my house. When the delivery guy shows up, he claims he can only drop off my material outside my house. For my next project I will be going to Lowes across the street.
I went to the store in Pasadena Tx, horrible service by the Manager name Jason. He was completely rude and unprofessional. I went to buy new garage doors and after waiting for someone to help us, he came and as soon as he ask me what I needed, he picked up the phone, completely ignored what I was saying. Then he started asking me for my zip code and I was not sure if he was talking to me or someone on the phone since he still had the phone by his ear.
