First and formal for the employee who told the maintenance lady that I was a man! I really hope I don’t find out who you are. very covid controlled and I normally find everything I'm looking for. Today was a blower, screen for sliding screen door, lock and cable for new bike and a new bathroom lock. found them all !!
Even with very few in the store at one time due to COVID-19 I waited 45 minutes for someone to respond to the many PA announcements asking for an employee to help me with cutting plywood. When he finally got there, he just passed by and said, "It's not working hoss". No out of order sign, and he clearly had no intention of putting one up for the next poor customer who wants plywood cut. I went to Lowe's and they took care of it for me immediately.
For years Home Depot has desperately needed to up their customer service game. From trying to call and get ahold of someone on the phone to trying to get help in the store, I get the impression this company is trying it's best to avoid helping it's customers and driving them to competitor's stores. Have fun.
just tried going to buy a new doorbell. Not one doorbell on display?!? instead the sign reads put the number online to hear what the doorbell will sound like. No one around to assist not one Home Depot Associate anywhere to be found. Sadly from here on out I will go elsewhere to do home improvements. if I wanted to go online I would have just stayed home😕
