The 4-6 week project ordered in July was not finished until the 10/20. I was over billed. And yesterday, they denied my Veteran husband the discount.
Their return policy is horrible. I have taken things back under warranty and get a "song and a dance". Then they report you to a third party "The Retail Equation" and you can not return anything. HD has told me before that you're "black listed" for 90 days which is a lie because when I called TRE I requested a report and there were things on there from 8 YEARS!!! ago
I went to this store yesterday to get some plants for my front yard. Also I need a new garden hose. They didn't have the plants so I just picked up the hose. I went to the garden center to check out but there were about 10 people standing in line in the sun waiting on 1 cashier to check them out. So I decided I would go inside to pay as I cannot stand in the sun. There were NO cashiers!! Only self check outs open!! This is unacceptable!!! People need their jobs!! THIS SUX !!! I believe Home Depot is over selling their product, just like the airlines do seats with no consideration for the customer. I ordered a gas range, was given a delivery date and my Credit Card was accepted. I receive an email saying that my delivery date is no longer available after all this stuff was set up. Customer service is no help.Nothing has been done to fix or make up for their screw up. I would recommend that people refrain from encouraging this kind of behavior by shopping elsewhere.
