I had high hopes for Arcadia after touring, but this apartment complex has been nothing but disappointing for me unfortunately. Maintenance is great and I haven't had any direct issues with the main office or management, however, there's little things that go on here that make living at Arcadia unenjoyable to say the least. Number one, I'm not sure if this is in all units, but in mine, it feels like glorified dorms. As a grad student Arcadia has made Harrisonburg feel like home. Their maintenance has been responsive and helpful, answering any questions I might have and the apartments have everything I need at a reasonable price. I would recommend Arcadia to others!
I have been a resident at Arcadia for nearly a year. As a graduate student moving from about ten hours away, I had limited time to tour housing options before my program began. During my visit, I toured a four-bedroom, four-bathroom unit that appeared clean, well-lit, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out—qualities that influenced my decision to sign a lease.
