After going to The Hill on 3rd Ave about two weeks ago I was very happy with my experience. Usually, I am not a big fan of sports bars, particularly because I have one that I have been going to for years with my boyfriend. Now, I feel like we have a new place to venture off to. The food alone is worth the trip, but the drinks are also a good price and really good. I mean I was drinking appletinis while my boyfriend had been but they were soo good! I think our old bar is going to have to start sharing time with The Hill!!
A Great Time For Friends – Recently, my friends and I decided to go out for a night on the town. We decided to go in to Murray Hill because of the great atmosphere and the guaranteed good time whenever we all go in the area. Murray Hill's Best – In Murray Hill there is a lot of great places to wine and dine but The Hill is my favorite. It's got a great happy hour and it's a comforting atmosphere especially after a long day of work. Because there is so many places to choose from in the area, I feel as if The Hill doesn't get a lot of recognition but it defiantly should. Between the great staff and food it’s a can't miss for those looking for a relaxing evening or an exciting night filled with fun.
Hummus Obsessed! – Let me just start out by saying that the roasted garlic hummus is out of this world! It was so tasty and the perfect appetizer to start off my night. After gobbling it up, I washed it down with a nice cold beer and then moved on to The Hill Burger. The burger was juicy and was cooked exactly how I like it. 5 Star Steak Sandwich – I stopped into the Hill for a colleagues birthday gathering and really enjoyed it. While the crowd was a little young, I think it sort of livened the place up. I had one of the best steak sandwiches I've ever had at the Hill. It was a huge portion, I almost couldn't finish. They also have Hoegarden on tap... what more can a guy want. I would definitely visit the Hill again.
So Yummy! – I LOVED the Hill! I was surprised at how quiet it was when we went, not too crowded at all. I would think people would be lining up for this place with the happy hour specials and great food. When I went with my girlfriends after work we had a few drinks and I had the salsa chicken wrap with strawberry salsa! SO GOOD, I've never had strawberry salsa before and I absolutely loved it. Washing that all down with the signature Sugrim iced tea made for the best experience ever.
Murray Hill's Chicest Sports Bar – The Hill is unique, you can take a date there or you can hang with the guys. It is very well decorated and you would never know it was a sports bar until its game day. They have very good food from my experience and great service as well. My personal recommendation is for the sweet and sour calamari it was amazing. They also have a pretty good selection of draft beers -- reasonably priced. All around a great place for any occasion.
great party spot! – Hey I had my birthday party at the Hill last weekend and it was really fun. The staff was very helpful from the first time I e-mailed them until the end of my party. The manager and Bartender that night were great and very attentive. We were upstairs and I had about 100 people in and out over the course of the night and we had plenty of space and no entry issues or lines. Sangria Sundays – If you and your girlfriends are looking for a chic bar to hang out in for a night on the town, you should defiantly start off at The Hill. My group of girlfriends cannot normally get together during the week, so we try to all go out on Sunday nights before the long week ahead.
