LOVE LOVE LOVE The Hill!!!! – The Hill is my kind of relaxing, quaint little bar with great food, great drinks, and good service. The Hill is a perfect spot to meet up with friends after work for a quick, cheap drink and a bite to eat. They always have good food and drinks flowing with a good music selection. Last time I went there I got the fried mac and cheese because it is probably my favorite thing on the menu--SO GOOD! Highly recommended. If you can try and get there on a wednesday for $3 champagne
Great Place – I really enjoyed my time at the Hill. I have been to the Ainsworth which apparently is managed by the same company as the Hill and they are very similar and both great. The Hill had a lot of similar drinks and food as the Ainsworth and had a very similar vibe. I was originally trying to book a reservation at the Ainsworth but when I called they were booked and suggested I try the Hill. So fun! – I went to The Hill the other night for the first time with friends. It doesn't seem like much from the size of it but I definitely had a great time. They had great music, we were there on a Thursday so the deal was amazing $3 drinks, can't beat that. We also had some appetizers, the spinach dip was amazing! While we were there I noticed they have other great specials everyday of the week! I will definitely be making a return visit.
Ahh The Hill, You Never Fail Me – The Hill is one of my favorite weeknight spots to hang out with my girlfriends. They have really great specials, Tuesday is my favorite day to go: half off the specialty cocktails all night. All the drinks they have are so yummy and at half off, who can resist?? The Hill also makes this amazing spinach dip, if you go I really suggest you try it!
ALL IN MONDAYS – Now, I can't speak for every other day of the week but on Monday nights, I'll definately always be at the Hill. They have this thing called All In Mondays and you get all you can eat wings and chicken fingers with all you can DRINK domestic draft beers for the price of only.......... TWENTY DOLLARS. I can't think of any other place that has something like this so it makes the Hill unique in Murray Hill. I love my Mondays at The Hill!
Sangria YumMMm – Sunday is a normal brunch day for those of us in the city, and the Hill is no stranger to the brunch scene either. As an added bonus the Hill serves pitchers of sangria all day and night on Sunday! I LOVE sangria and the Hill's really lives up to my expectations. If you're not a sangria person the brunch specials come with unlimited bloody marys and mimosas! The food here was also very good!
Avoid the Hill Burger at ALL costs!! – To Burger lovers - WHATEVER YOU DO, AVOID THE HILL BURGER - THIS USED TO BE VERY VERY GOOD, EXACTLY WHAT THE MENU DESCRIBED, BUT I ORDERED ON 2-27-11 AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST HAMBURGER I HAVE EVER EATEN, THE MOZZARELLA CHEESE WAS NOT EVEN REAL CHEESE AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT WAS, AND THE MEAT WAS HARD, VERY GREASY, KNOTTY AND OF VERY POOR QUALITY, NO WAY WAS THAT EVEN A SEMBLANCE OF SIRLOIN. Regular Fries..Move Aside for VEGAS FRIES!! – I have never tried vegas fries before but I'm a HUGE fan of regular fries. Whenever I go out I always try to switch it up and when I saw vegas fries on The Hill's menu, I had to try them. And of course they were amazinggggggg!!! They are waffle fries with buffalo sauce and green onions and though I would have never come up with that combination myself, it was fantastic!! $3 Thursdays – $3 well drinks, drafts, & martinis on Thursdays at The Hill seriously is so legit! Once every few weeks, my friends and I go in to Murray Hill and set up camp there. I stick to vodka and cran, while my girlfriends all jump on the martinis as soon as we walk in. Most of my other friends stick to beer..and we are all happy campers.
