Beautiful hotel, comfortable beds, friendly helpful staff and birds singing in the halls.
Large Happy Hour selection, Free Coffee for hotel guest which is incredible, piano music while you dine, very clean, homey, staff super friendly, genuine and helpful, wine 🍷 in your room and great Pool. You feel like your in a mountain lodge without the drive.
I attended the Blatchford seminar Thursday and Friday. I have a very limited diet and can not eat the lunches provided so I brought my own. Not thinking it through, I brought soup. Friday I did not have access to my room's microwave because we check out at 11. I asked a kitchen team member if there was one available. She responded that there was not one on this side of the lodge but she would be more than happy to take my soup to the staff lounge and heat it for me. I stayed at the Heathman Lodge so I could attend Taco Fest in Portland and it was a great choice! A little out of the city, parking available, and attentive staff. It is also nice that there is a restaurant/bar downstairs. I had two meals - chicken and scalloped potatoes - and brunch the next day which was an eggs Benedict. Both were good. Coffee at the restaurant is ok but you can request a fancier latte or cappuccino drink which is located at the front desk. Thanks for the hospitality Heathman! I'd recommend.
