Service was good and friendly, but food was very poor for the price
The food was fantastic. The "early bird" special is a great deal. Also the staff was extremely attentive and accommodating to dietary issues.
Love the atmosphere, and the food even more. Great selection of beers, friendly bartenders pouring them!

We had our wedding reception in the Firehouse Room last September and I am working with Cia again to plan our anniversary dinner in a few weeks. Our wedding was the best day every and this anniversary is going to be the cherry on top of the best year! The Firehouse Room is beautiful, the food is always amazing, and the staff is so accommodating! The Happy Gnome is the best restaurant in Minnesota and I am so excited to have such an amazing place to celebrate every year with my husband :)
When my bf and son got there, we were excited. It looked really cool on the outside and inside. The hostess was very nice. We asked if we could sit on the patio and we were told it wasn't open until 3 but they could seat us out there. We watched the MANAGER griping about us, right in front of us on the way to the kitchen because we wanted patio seating but said we could sit anywhere if it was closed and didn't care.
