Food was delicious, staff very friendly!,prices were very reasonable
excellent service, ambiance, music and most importantly the food. Pretty awesome enjoying some Mahi and grits while watching the sun set over the Pacific Ocean.....while listening to some classic tunes.

I came here for the first time with my husband and his friend. We sat at the bar and they have a great craft beer selection. My husband ordered shrimp tacos, which were to die for. I ordered the country fried chicken with greens and mashed potatoes. I was reluctant on how it'd all taste since Cali isn't the south. But the greens and country fried steak were the best I've ever had. We will definitely be coming back. Great beer and great food. Not to mention the great view of the ocean.
Love this place....the food and service never fail to please! Having the best bloody marys is a bonus too!
Tradition or ritual? Every time I/we fly back to So. Cal, our first stop is always The Hangout. Gotta have that first ( and sometimes third) Surf ‘n Turf Bloody Mary, along with the fantastic view of Seal Beach and the pier! We like coming into town early so it’s usually breakfast for us. My wife loves the pancakes and Belgium waffle. I crave the eggs Benedict choices and the breakfast tacos are epic. This place is always amazing, whether it be for lunch or breakfast. Wonderful Bloody Mary’s! This time I ordered off the “sides” part of the menu; to die for cheesy grits, one egg over hard and a side of amazing bacon. It was all so good!
