The wine, the menu, the service. Waiter got us a booth despite our lack of reservations. I forget the wine label, but it was their least expensive red and it was delightfully non-acidic and full-bodied. I had a magnificent filet and Jo had a pork chop the size of a brick: too big to finish. Their sourdough bread is to die for. As are their roasted brussel sprouts. My husband and I LOVE The Hamilton! Our first visit was on the 4th of July, which also happened to be the last day of our honeymoon. We stopped in D.C. to shop for apartments on our way home from Virginia Beach. Now locals, we bring our families and out of town guests frequently. The food is always fantastic, the building is gorgeous and the drinks are delicious. I can’t recommend The Hamilton enough!
