Absolutely great place with fantastic service and affordable prices My daughter and I both think that the crab bisque is some of the best we've ever had in our life! And OMG.. the bacon wrapped green beans... to die for..seriously :)

Fantastic crab cakes and onion rings- some of the best I've ever had. Very friendly server, great location, lovely oyster-themed decor inside. Shrimp and grits was not nearly as good as other places on the island (the BBQ sauce was odd and the sausage was chewy) and the Asian slaw was a bit tasteless.

Had a wonderful time celebrating my 50th birthday at The Half Shell! From the moment I walked in with my crown and sash on to the first bite of my fabulous steak, the atmosphere was great! The food was delicious! And the staff were fantastic! My waiter even allowed me to knight him, since I was queen for the night. He shall forever be known as Sir Jordan! If you go, ask for Sir Jordan! He's a lot of fun!
