Crab bisque was wonderful. Mahi Mahi with cheese grits was a great combo. Great atmosphere & very reasonably priced.
Favorite place on the island Excellent seafood and great service!
Long wait to be seated but it was worth it. My wife had a bisque - excellent one! We did try also oysters Rockefeller - excellent. I had shrimp ceviche - excellent. The dinner - local shrimps with green been wrapped in bacon - excellent.
The food was great. Our service was great---thanks to Grace.
I am local and I think this place is AWESOME! Servers are attentive and the fish is so incredible. Put this one on the list if you are in the area!
Half Shell was an awesome place! The service was exceptional and the food was the best we have eaten. We had oysters, fried shrimp, mahi mahi, and sweet potato fries. They went above and beyond by fixing our picky kids grilled cheese sandwich that was not even on the menu. Oh, and the green beans wrapped in bacon...we had to order seconds! They were phenomenal! If you go to Saint Simons Island...this is a must!
