From its not-so-humble beginnings as the home of Carl Hilmer Guenther in 1860, it has been restored into one of the more unique dining experiences in the city. Dont like it we waited too long and the server is mean
Nice breakfast place near downtown San Antonio.
Had my triplet baby shower here and it was amazing.
Coffee. House blend. Get it. Cinnamon roll heated with a mound of butter. Pancakes. Biscuits and gravy. Eat them. Bacon. Buy it. Love love love. Great service. And coffee. House blend. Why are you still reading? Go get that food!!!!
2.25 hour wait. This place really needs more sitting areas. There was no complimentary coffee and stood in line for an hour for strudel. Don't go with a a big party or go between 9am and 1pm. I really love this place and the location and food is fantastic. I've been coming here for the past 3 years but have noticed the wait keeps getting longer and I think it's outgrown it's current ability to feed hungry folks in a timely manner. Thank you for the amazing chorizo quiche and I'll see y'all again.
We enjoyed our breakfast today. Service and food were both wonderful!
Breakfast and service was great so glad we tried it. Only complaint is we sat inside and I'm pretty sure the AC was not on. It was cooler outside then inside.
Everything but especially the Founder's Choice coffee. We brew it at home in Missouri every Sunday morning while wishing we were there having breakfast.
