Not your run of the mill menu ,great service and food was delicious!
I have enjoyed the Gruene Door for years. Always a great place to eat, be it lunch, dinner or just for drinks. I don't eat out often but when I do, it's at the door, The Gruene Door.

I had a full glass of red wine spilled on me by the waiter. Then while I was in the restroom he spills another drink. There was no apology. I heard other wait staff talking about it but the manager never came over to check on us. After it happens the waiter rarely came to our table, empty drinks, didn't offer dessert, NADA! On the way out my friend talks to the manager and she didn't seem interested in taking about it.

Excellent service. Delicious food. Amazing atmosphere. Snazzy music. The soup was the bomb. Overall it was a really great experience. I would go back again.

Have visited twice and loved the experience each time. We love the crabcake and the jalapeño pesto is amazing! My husband has had the lamb both times and it has been cooked to perfection each time. I have had the filet, perfectly cooked to temp, juicy and the Demi is delicious. Tonight we tried the appetizer with the crabcake, tuna, and salmon.... Fantastic! Even the salad dressings are amazing! We have thoroughly enjoyed our experiences and will visit again.
