Had the Devil Wings for an appetizer and those were pretty tasty, but could've been a little crunchier. For entrees, we had the Jambalaya with cornbread and it was okay, but kinda one-note both in taste and texture while the cornbread was pretty dry and blah...and the Vegan Shnitzel which was actually pretty great, but still a little lacking in fried crunch which was a little weird because the gravy was a sorta dry. Amazing but needs to have larger portion sizes, albeit slightly.
So here’s the scoop; I’m not vegetarian or vegan but my friend is and so we came in today for brunch. I’ll be honest, I was a little hesitant because eating vegetarian or vegan is foreign to me and I was afraid I wouldn’t like it. I jus wanted to let you guys know I got the Nuevos Rancheros, the “buttermilk” biscuit, the devil wings, and lava cake. It was all so, so tasty! I couldn’t finish it and I am sitting at home eating those leftovers-and they’re still awesome! Thanks for making great food and for opening my eyes! �
