We live in Rockford, Il. Came up for a doctors appointment at UW. My wife seen Green Owl while searching for restaurants to eat at. Our first time there, but not our last. We have a vegan brewery in Machesney Park, Il. called Pig Mind Brewing Company and we thought we would never find another place like it, well we did and we thank you. Geen Owl's staff was awesome and we'll definitely be back.

Amazing and diverse plant-based food options.
Adorable decor (owls everywhere!) and amazing vegan food. We are visiting for the weekend from Atlanta, GA and ate here twice in two days! The pesto Alfredo and the Mac and Cheese are both wonderful, as were the vegan wings, crabby cakes and the cheesecake. Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or just love great food, eat here! 5 stars, hands down.
