Booked reservation for two nights. Received confirmation. Called reservation service to cancel first night and was told there was no problem. I was emailed a new confirmation for the one remaining night. Then, I received an urgent phone call and email. When I called, I was told my new confirmation was no good and that hotel had overbooked. Ruined a special surprise for my daughter's anniversary. Very upsetting!!!!
Beautiful place to stay. We attended a wedding and it was so beautiful. Friendly staff and the manager checked several times to ask if we needed any thing. So clean and very well restored. I give them a high 5.
I live in McKinney, but I like to get a room here if I want to have a night on the town. I also like to treat out of town guest to this hotel. The rooms are nice and comfy, but the the best part is having Rick's right downstairs as well as all the fun places on the square. I highly recommend it!
The Grand Hotel is with in walking distance to all the hot spots and the room's nice and clean
The place was fantastic! The staff was amazing and more then accommodating. I was in town for a wedding and they were wonderful. The rooms were unique. It was refreshing not to be staying in a cookie cutter hotel. I loved the old-fashioned charm and good old Southern hospitality. A special 'thanks' to Jose who was beyond patient and made everything from making reservations, checking-in, parking, and checking-out as pleasant as possible. Thanks!
I did not have a pleasant experience at this hotel, the Valet was parking my car and hit another car with my car and damaged both cars... accidents happen, I understand this, what I did not understand was the front desks response and attitude. It was a horrible example of customer service, there was not " I am so sorry, what can we do, let me make sure the police are called" instead we received, "that is a different company, and turned her head and offered nothing" we are out of town guest! Absolutely perfect from planning, to our room, to our wonderful wedding and reception. I could not have asked for more. Book your wedding here, your party... heck, just stay for a nice romantic evening... Grand Hotel is perfect.
