Of course we all know this is a beautiful antique hotel but the heart people who work here has won my 5 stars. Im sure the people of this hotel will never get how their smiles, kindness and eagerness to help will always stick with me. Thank you for caring about your guest!
I attended a wedding yesterday for my aunt and the only thing that was terrible was the service from the staff. The staff never helped any of the bridesmaids when bringing their stuff in and I had the door closed on me several times because I had my hands full. The maids just looked at you and never offered assistance and I even had a server in the elevator make fun of me for not knowing how to get around. The food was amazing, but the staff was awful. It wasn't a horrible stay and the staff were all nice, but there was no above and beyond service that I had heard about. We were looking forward to our stay here because we had talked about it for so long. But ...The pipes rattled SO loud when anyone used water or flushed a toilet. The knocking on the wall from it woke me up all night. There is live music every weekend until 11pm so keep that in mind when booking. The rooms smelled very musty as did the bathroom.
