I have always loved the Merc and my daughter and granddaughters has as well. Recently traveled to Helena and planned an outing at the Merc, however the new owner, a very unfriendly person made the experience awful 🙃I decided I would not make any purchases due to her horrible rudeness to our family while there.

As I politely told you and your daughter, it is expected when people sit at our tables and use our facilities that they purchase one of our drinks. Brining in an outside drink as you did, is not what we ask of our customers, whether they are daily regulars or one-time visitors. We welcome you back to the Merc anytime. Have a lovely day.
I almost NEVER go out for coffee, but when I do......awhile back I had a friend come through who wanted to meet up for coffee and said to meet her at S.B.'s. I told her I supported local merchants and had her meet me at the Merc. She LOVED it and now when she comes through she always stops off at the merc. if we don't meet up. She thinks they've got SB"s beat all to hell. I wouldn't know, I've never been in one.

Very friendly and accommodating service. My yummy cappuccino was made exactly to order, along with a tasty scone. The seating, spread out amongst the interesting and fun merchandise, allows for privacy and comfort.
