Love the Merc! Hate that the new owner decided against WiFi. I used to go often to enjoy coffee and work. Now I need to find a new favorite.
This place is amazing! I love coming here just to escape; the atmosphere is like no other; and the drinks are top notch! I can't figure out why I didn't know about it sooner as I've lived here most my life. Definitely a must-visit location for locals and tourists alike!

It's like no other place. Very eclectic and lots of quiet nooks and crannies. The old fashioned coffee machine and varieties of tea make it the best in Helena. Great & interesting gifts, and a fun place for kids. Check it out!

I have always loved the atmosphere of the Merc! All of the fun and unique gifts they have always keep my interest and it's a very cozy place. The loft keeps my kids happy and they love to look at the fish. Although, the last time we were there, it took us 25 minutes to get the three basic drinks we ordered. Some of their other customers came in after we did, and still got their drinks before us, and by the time we got ours, the drinks were lukewarm. Hopefully next time I'll be as impressed by the coffee as I am their shop. :... read more
