Voted by newspaper readers a favorite place to meet friends after work, The Garage Cafe has a delightful split personality. By day, visit the cafe and enjoy courtyard seating with eclectic and antique decorations for sale. At night, the club scene emerges, often with live rock, soul or blues music. Enjoy the cafe's delicious sandwiches with multiple helpings of their famous Bloody Mary, concocted with eight different spices.

My favorite bar in the city!
Great drinks and food. Great people
Best sandwiches in Bham! :)
Friendly people, great atmosphere, and cold beer.
Best Reuben in town. You will see the local crew at the bar. If your a Balvenie scotch drinker the you hit gold. Always a good song list. Find Kay the owner and introduce to yourself.
super-chill atmosphere and cool music
Really neat place. Good food & drinks.
Stuck away on a narrow short street two blocks off Highland avenue, this little dive is a combination of an antique-museum-like-Samford-and-Son shopping center and a Parisian courtyard. It's so weird it's romantic.
Wonderful laid back atmosphere, my favorite Grolsch, and something called The Fritz. You gotta experience it to believe it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
