Since The Franklin Johnston Group has taken over Meridian Parkside apartments in Newport News, the management-to-resident communication has been TERRIBLE. I have lived at the complex since its opening in 2008 and been through several ownership and management changes and I am highly disappointed in the poor quality I have seen since the takeover from TFJG. I would appreciate a contact from an upper level management at this point, before I take my long-term-renting business elsewhere.
I don't know about the Group as an employer but as property management of Somerset Pointe Apartments they have a staff of very poor quality in the leasing office. They don't do anything you ask them about but they are quick to judge you and make rash decisions towards you without proper notice. Because of managements decision to not renew our lease and to have us vacate they failed to notify us of their decision until we had only 19 days to vacate.
