About this business

The Forum, a.k.a. Great Western Forum is one of the area's entertainment hotspots. Former home of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Kings, the Forum now frequently hosts boxing matches, rock concerts with performers such as Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Stevie Wonder, and other miscellaneous events. The glitzy, backlit Roman architecture seems a little out of place in Los Angeles, but it has its charms. As the Forum seats as many as 18,000 people, parking can be a little tough, so be prepared.

This venue is ok, but had the worst seats than any other music venue I've ever been to. I sat floor level, and they're essentially small folding chairs placed right next to each other with no armrests or places to put drinks. It was very cramped when everyone in our row was seated. The floor got really sticky super fast from spilled drinks. The staff seemed well organized at first; but then had issues figuring out what seats were what and checked our tickets 4 times and made us move twice. I'm not sure he knew what he was do... read more

Prices were outrageous for drinks, but staff was all very friendly and helpful. We had a Lyft ride there & back so parking wasn't an issue for us.

We went to both Friday and Saturday night shoes for Garth Brooks. The shows themselves were awesome as usual. All the staff were great, from parking attendants, security, the food service and ushers, all great people. The only complaints for anything would be the second night. Our seats were in different section. The seats were very cramped for my husband, who is very tall. There were no cupholders so drinks were set down on the disgustingly wet/sticky floor.. oh and the lack of womens restrooms as per the usual in any venue... read more

Have been to this venue 3 times. 3rd time was this past Sat for Garth Brooks/Trisha Yearwood concert. Last 2 was for Backstreet Boys concert. & always enjoy going to this venue. The staff & security are nice/cheerful & helpful. My only 4 mini suggestions for this venue would be.: Adding cup holders to the seats, so people are not expected to hold onto their drinks & spilling it, or placing it on the floor. Maybe lowering the price of fountain soda, if they wanna compete with other venues like Staples/Microsoft theater etc. O... read more

Had a wonderful experience overall. Parking was organized and easy. We felt safe due to abundant presence of security, police & fire personnel. Plenty of ushers. Drink & food were excellent. My only main concern was the lack of exit doors from the floor seats area. The exit out was too long; too many people being directed & waiting to exit off the floor level to the First floor. In a true emergency we would have been in trouble! And considering we paid a lot of money for our floor seats just to be closer to the artist, there... read more

Get in early and parking isn't an issue. I read too much about people missing the show because they couldn't park so I made sure we were there well before. Also got I hear sound check which was cool. Weirdly you could also hear it in the ladies... I was thinking why is there a guy talking in the ladies!?! It was John Mayer talking to his crew. Also any place you can buy delicious cafe worthy cake when the sugar craving hits can't be all bad. Getting out wasn't too much of a hassle either. Patience is a virtue! Staff couldn't... read more
