About this business

The Forum, a.k.a. Great Western Forum is one of the area's entertainment hotspots. Former home of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Kings, the Forum now frequently hosts boxing matches, rock concerts with performers such as Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Stevie Wonder, and other miscellaneous events. The glitzy, backlit Roman architecture seems a little out of place in Los Angeles, but it has its charms. As the Forum seats as many as 18,000 people, parking can be a little tough, so be prepared.

I have not been to the forum in over 20 years and I forgot how much I like the venue! The knee room wasn't great but the chairs were comfy and we had a great view! The lines were not bad and they were pouring a good wine!!

One of the best venues I have been to and I drove 10 hours to get there for Barry Manilow! Excellent friendly staff, very well organized, easy parking and exiting. Clean bathrooms and no waiting in line for women's bathroom. I would give more stars if I could!

The last time I was at The Forum was for a Laker game. Ha! I was there Monday night 7/31 for Counting Crows and Matchbox 20. Parking wasn't hard but expensive. Way more than any other venue I've been to in the last 2 years. Same for the cost of food. Yet everyone was very nice and helpful. While they said 'no special orders' they were willing to make me a veggie burger without cheese as long as I was willing to wait. I was and did. My friends and I sat in section 227. The sound of the band drowned out and distorted Adams voi... read more

Loved seeing MB20 again Monday night 7/31 but was disappointed with the multiple sound and equipment issues (as was the very vocal Rob Thomas). The staff was friendly and accommodating. Venue itself was not the greatest or most comfortable, lots of stairs...including into the bathrooms. I will definitely see Matchbox 20 again but will skip shows at the forum in the future.

Great venue. Staff was helpful. Parking was a little steep and they park you in like sardines!

The security and staff were very helpful across the board. Was one of the best concert experiences I've had in a while.
