The Forum, a.k.a. Great Western Forum is one of the area's entertainment hotspots. Former home of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Kings, the Forum now frequently hosts boxing matches, rock concerts with performers such as Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Stevie Wonder, and other miscellaneous events. The glitzy, backlit Roman architecture seems a little out of place in Los Angeles, but it has its charms. As the Forum seats as many as 18,000 people, parking can be a little tough, so be prepared.

I usually don't hand out 5-Stars for anything , but last night at the Slayer show every Forum employee was kind,professional,and gracious ... I was shocked - great service ... the $25 parking is pretty stiff though , c'mon now...

I was there on 8/5/17 for slayer and had a VIP ticket. The forum staff were extremely nice and attentive, the facilities were in perfect condition which is something that is very important to me, I had am awesome time with security as well! They were strickt but would joke around with you when the time was appropriate. I can honestly say that as far as concert Venus that ive been to thus has been by far the best!
Wow the seats were super comfy Thanks! Everyone was throwing their drinks during Slayer and I saw two people slip on the stairs so maybe more mops for death metal concerts.
I was worried about an oversold floor, overheating, and the reputation of the area, I was very wrong on all three! Great venue, incredible air conditioning, great security, super helpful staff! 10/10 would go visit again!
The security personnel didn't have a clue as to what they were doing when it came to "All access passes and VIP passes". They sent people to the wrong areas for entry and were aggravating guests. We were with a person that actually worked with Slayer and they tried to tell him that he couldn't escort us backstage and we had "All access passes". We were finally let in. Went to see Barry Manilow on 8-4. Great show as always. I was with my 81 yr. old mother. A nice security guard gave us a lift to the entrance. The house lights were not working on our side of the arena. We were in section 231. Everyone had to use their cell phones in order to see. Of course, my mother ended up tripping on a step and ended up on her hands and knees.
