Was there for brunch. Thought it was overpriced and the food was medicore
Blackened tuna was delicious with a sweet potato spring roll and apple salad. Blondie dessert was awesome. Lively ambiance. Definitely the place to be in the neighborhood.
Literally my fav restaurant in Baltimore!!!! I LIVE for the Salt and Pepper Tuna (definitely needs to be upgraded to the SMALL menu)
I love this place, I have been here 3 times. This last time I took my husband so he could try the mussels. He thought they were delicious. We also had the lobster fingers and the popcorn. We both got the Cream of Crab soup to go. Thoroughly satisfied. 😋
This place is amazing! The food is flavorful. I own a local spice business and I have to say that the seasoning is on point with the dishes. Highly recommended and will be coming back over and over again.
This is at least our 6th time at the Food Market & we’ve always had an excellent meal with wonderful service. It’s the first time we indulged in the prefixed menu during restaurant week and were all so happy with all of our picks! The Heath Bar bread pudding with caramel sauce should remain a keeper on the menu for sure! Our party of 4 devoured all of their picks with wonderful reviews! The boar gumbo was an exceptional hit along with the beef Wellington puffs. We will continue to patronize this gem for years to come!
When I went for brunch my egg was sliding off my plate and so the runner moved it back onto the muffin WITH HIS HANDS at the table. When I - disgusted and shocked - alerted a manager she told me his hands were clean and it was fine. Acted like I was out of line to be upset. SHOCKING and frankly a health violation!!!!

Hi Catherine! We are so deeply sorry to hear that you didn’t have the most amazing experience with us at The Food Market. Would you please reach out to us via private message on The Food Market page so that we can gather more details from your experience to prevent it from happening again, and also to make this situation right for you. Again, we are deeply sorry. Looking forward to hearing from you. Best, Chad Gauss
Visiting from Chicago and a recommendation from some co workers. Ended up there twice this week had to get the cookbook and can’t wait to be back there again. Everything we had was great and the service was outstanding.
This was one of the better meals most of our group ever had. The gluten-free options were a welcome treat for one in our party, the Mistletoe martini, the red-headed Mules and the Munro drink were awesome! Desserts were to die for! Service was spot on, and a fellow Carroll Countian to boot! We will definitely be back! Oh and free valet parking was the icing on the cake! It was a wonderful evening with friends.
