Slow Service, small portions for price, steak was so undercooked it made my boyfriend sick. Never will return
Staff was friendly and accommodating with dietary needs.
Got seated pretty quickly, service was really good, and the food was on point!
Just visiting Rockwall after living here 20 yrs ago.....started with a giant Pecan Sticky Bun I shared with hubby....yummy....I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection, very moist & NOT over seasoned ...Brussels Sprouts were good, but could have been better if roasted instead of boiled...mashed potatoes were good. Hubby had the Fried chicken ...very good.....service was good.
So a bunch of us came here after camp gladiator, 8 adults & 3 children, I was excited as I ❤️ the chicken & waffles! However......we were sat at a table that would seat 8 comfortably and as such 2 adults had to sit at the end in the walkway.....we were told that we should’ve booked, fair point we’ll remember if we come back. My biggest annoyance was that a friend & I spilt the chicken & waffles, upon getting the check we noted a $1.50 ‘split charge’ I queried this and was informed that it was because we’d split food......so ... read more
The positives: the service was great, the sausage and bacon were amazing, orange juice was so fresh, the coffee was great, and chicken was perfectly breaded. Negatives: pretty much anything that was flour based tasted doughy and too floury: pancakes, waffle, biscuit, gravy. The chocolate croissant was good, but the croissant was too thick and not light or flaky at all. It might have been a bad day in the kitchen but for the price, not sure I’d return other than to give a second chance.
Awesome food I’ve eaten here several times and the food is consistently good. The staff is friendly and professional. I can’t wait to go back again.
