When the knew I was moving out of state, they kept a large amount of my security deposit. They made up statements about repairs with no pictures, after waiving a final inspection. There was a preliminary inspection with no issues noted. The property had been shown to a prospective tenant with no issues mentioned. Rented a house for 5+ years. Kept all of my deposit and added on $1770. Charged $4570 ( nearly two months rent) for repairs and replacements: a lawn that died three months after we moved in due to drought. A door with minor cosmetic damage. Many other things. Cleaned the place inside and out when we left. Coincidentally, the owners moved back in and remodeled the place.
