There is nothing “luxury” about this hotel. The rooms are on the spacious side and the location is wonderful. However the hotel was not terribly clean and everything we tried to address with the front desk went unanswered. The bartenders were friendly and made wonderful cocktails. I would say this is on par more with a Sheraton than a luxury collection. RecommendedLove the equinox! Just got married here and it feels like a second home! Everyone is amazing here and the wedding coordinator Michelle was SO amazing at what she does! I didn’t just have a coordinator I had a friend! If I could, I would live here in a heartbeat!

If you are going to charge $450 a night, the decor should not be from the 80's. Seriously. In BAD need of remodeling.

I am disgusted at the lack of quality in the dining room and the bar! Our food was disgusting, presentation was absent entirely. I ordered a Coke, it was flat. So instead I asked for a Bloody Mary. It almost made me throw up it had so much horseradish! The drink itself didn’t even have the appearance of a bloody Mary as it looked pink instead of a rich read of tomato juice. Our room had feces on the comforter, what looked like throw up in the both room. I have NEVER stayed at a hotel so dirty. Beautiful outside but would never recommend. Because of Covid I had to make my own bed. $500 a night and I’m making my bed because there was (feces?) on the comforter?

My husband and I stayed at The Equinox in September of 2019. We are Marriott Bonvoy Silver Elite members, having joined in 2017. We were celebrating our first wedding anniversary with a getaway weekend. Upon arrival at the resort we were downgraded from our king sized room to a queen sized room. The trainees at the desk said nothing else was available; however, other guests literally standing next to us were upgraded to king sized rooms as we checked in.
