RecommendedMy boyfriend and I were in the city celebrating my birthday and our Air BnB took a turn for the worst. I quickly found The Dwight D Hotel and called to reserve a room right away. The owner answered and was SO helpful. We met her shortly after and she took the time to tour us around, show us to our amazing studio-style room on the top floor and she even gave us a late check out. A lovely, quiet and charming nook. Much better than a high rise Philly hotel! We love it!
I picked this place because it was unique unlike a chain. The rooms are all clean and have everything you need. The owners were extremely friendly like you were family. I was trying to site see in just a day and half. They told me the best places to go given my time. Victoria even took me for a ride around town and dropped me off at an amazing restaurant. If I ever visit again this is the only place I would stay.
Hidden gem, great rooms and pleasant staff!
Wow! Perfect location was why I picked it, but the rest is why we will come back. Vittoria greeted us as warmly as a friend, staying in their house for the first time. She showed us great spots to eat and how to get to our concert the most efficient way possible. The hotel was beautiful, with the room immaculate, elegant and comfortable! We are already planning our next stay.
Spent the weekend here with the family for a reunion and graduation. Am told that Vittoria was very welcoming when the family checked in. Returned to the hotel an hour after check-out to retrieve personal property left in the room. Rather than offering to send it to us if it were later found, Michael rudely refused us access to common areas and refused to look for it or to allow us to look for it, despite the fact that family member was still a guest. Like staying at an old friend's gorgeous brownstone. Ken and Vittoria are so friendly and sweet, and they can fill you in on all the great spots in the neighborhood. The room was charming and warm, and big! Vastly superior to staying at a large commercial hotel. The best place to stay in the city.
