I have lived at the Delano for over two years now and have loved it. The building is always clean and comfortable, and the location in Woodley Park is perfect to get the quiet feel of Rock Creek Park with access to the metro and Adams Morgan both short walks away. Elisse the Property Manager is wonderful and always around to assist with any questions or concerns asap and Catherine at the front desk is so kind and helpful. I would highly recommend the Delano to anyone looking.
I lived in the Delano from 2022-2023 and thought it was a great place to live with friendly staff (esp. Doreen at the front desk) and excellent maintenance (esp. Jose). The management company seems to care about providing a quality home for tenants and, when I was there, hosted some fun seasonal events (e.g. Oktoberfest party). And the price seemed reasonable. Recommend.
Until recently, this building was great. I moved in during the height of the pandemic, and outside some initial maintenance issues with leaking windows which was addressed quickly by the excellent maintenance team, The Delano seemed to be a calm, quiet, and well-maintained building. Then the Stompers moved in above me. Previously, there had been a long time tenant who lived above me. I lived in the delano for 1 year ending august 2021. The management here (Keener) was honestly the best I’ve ever had. Touring the place was easy, it didn’t feel like they were trying to rip us off with unnecessary fees in the beginning, and the move in/out process was smooth with a reserved time slot. They respond to requests very quickly, including for maintenance. Jose responded to our online maintenance requests by the next day every time.
