I've stayed at the Croydon for a little over two years since 2024. This is my first apartment in DC, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in a safe and fun neighborhood. The location is so convenient—within 10 minutes walk to DuPont Metro station and with plenty of bus stops around; great restaurants of different cuisines nearby, etc. The building itself is safe and clean. Clean, well kept building with excellent staff. Maintenance is timely and the community staff are kind and responsive. This place is a hidden gem.
I lived in the Croydon for a few years and loved the location and community. The team at the Croydon are super kind, professional, and helpful. Whenever I needed maintenance, etc. it was taken care of right away and the building felt safe and clean. It is an older building but maintained with care. I also loved that there were folks of all ages living in the building and genuinely nice neighbors.
