The Croydon is an amazing apartment complex. It is also in a great and central location in DuPont Circle. The only reason I left is because I moved out of DC and if I ever move back, I hope to live in the Croydon again! All of the workers are lovely, the building is incredibly homey, and maintenance is very quick to fix any problems (although I rarely had any issues!). It also feels super safe!! I definitely recommend this building.
I have lived at the Croydon for more than a year now, and I recommend it to everyone who is looking for studio/one-bedroom to live here. The people in building management and maintenance (Cathie, Cheritta, José, Maria, and others) are incredibly responsive, kind, friendly, and fix problems quickly. The location is top tier: close to restaurants, 4 minutes walk from Safeway, 10 minutes walk from Trader Joe's, and accessible via the Dupont metro and frequent buses. I’ve been living here in the Croydon building since 2008. The reason why I’m still here is because of the amazing management team. They’re all on top of their game. Any issue I have they fix right away. Cathie butler, Cherita Jordan, Jose, Maria, and Issac have the building under control. Thank you for your amazing service - Jon Marenco

I cannot recommend living at the Croydon enough! The entire staff is so friendly and helpful, especially Cheritta and Cathie in the leasing office. They helped make my application, move-in, and move-out process seamless. The location is great and the pricing is very fair. I was so sad when my time at the Croydon was up!
