About this business
History of our building dates back to 1928. It started out as a feed and storage depot in the 20's. Supplies came by boat and rail. After that business, the building has been used as a Scotty's, Motorcycle repair shop, & Flea Market. The building was then abandoned for quite a few years. Then in 1998, it was rebuilt inside out and became a restaurant called Sunset Steakhouse. The top layer of roof was blown off in 2001 and the building and restaurant was sold. June 4, 2001 The Crazy Gator was opened by Beth and Steve Robin.

The wings not done enough And my girl had a straw wrapper in her soda glass no clean dishes place not clean Don't recommend it And it's been a while since we were in so we figured we would try it Not happening again
Thanks Randy and crew for a great night. Business with Friends always brings a great big group and Julia did a superb job in juggling the orders and staying on top of the drinks. My wings were excellent as always....love when we have our networking meetings there, the atmosphere and location puts this as one of my favorite places to eat out at in Eustis. See you again soon.
Arrived with a large group and I have to say our server Julia was FANTASTIC! We enjoy Crazy Gators newly renovated back room for our meetings and our food was fresh, looked great! With large groups, the wait between serving is minimal while everything is being delivered out of the kitchen, which says a lot to their dedication of serving great food when one server has a large group. Look forward to visiting again!
I go to this restaurant with a networking group every so often and the food is always okay but nothing spectacular. Service for our group is always okay but again not great. Edited to update: We had an event there last night (9/12/18) and the back room was fantastic! The food was outstanding, our servers were great and the place looks and feels 100% better than before! Thanks for a great space to have an event!
We had a great time! Meal and drinks were excellent!!
Had a super long lunch today catching up with friends from out of state. Nicole took great care of us, was attentive to our needs yet we never felt rushed. Food was fresh and delicious and the lake view from the porch added to our great time! Will definitely be back!
