Beautiful day on the deck having great drinks with friends. I tried the lobster stack and Mediterranean pizza it was excellent! I can't wait to come back and try the Cioppino! Looks yummy!

Had reservations for 7PM for a party of 7. Arrived 15 minutes early was told it would be 20 minutes. 30 minutes later we were told it would be another 15 minutes. Then 15 minutes were were told that they had 3 big groups come in at the same time, however this time they set some tables up. In the dinning room 7 tables were empty. WORST SERVICE EVER! It took absolutely forever to get a drink outside and I was given three different size plastic cups everytime I got a drink. Then inside with only five customers at the bar around 10:00...it took at least 30 minutes to get any service and almost an hour to get one appetizer! Worst part...the restaurant manager (formerly of the Venus de Milo) and his floor manager with a useless headset on completely ignored me and my friend. The Cove is a beautiful looking restaurant. The food was excellent. I had the grilled scolops with risotto and asparagus. One of the best I have had. The service was excellent also. Took one sip of water and waiter was there to refill glass. Our waitress was very pleasant and helpful. One of the owners came by to welcome us and thank us for coming. I will definitely be back. Had a good time .The food was good .It was very,very busy but they did a good job with it being opening night .The whole place is beautiful ,and so clean .Loved being outside listening to the band.I think it's good for Fall River.Met Dan there 17 years ago,so it was nice to be back"there is also a beautiful banquet room .
Great location, beautiful place . Second opening night so service was slow, took an hour to get just our drinks and food didn't come out the same time, everyone's orders came out at separate times half of them messed up . We ate on the deck and It took a half hour just to get a menu. Very unorganized. Would give another chance after they work out their opening kinks. UPDATE 8/1/14: much better experience this week.
