Elroy is the mangers name & does not know how to handle a dissatisfied patron , u would almost think he took in insultingly like he was the cook or menu creator, rude beyond anything I've ever delt with ..... Walks away before u can even finish a sentence .... Some managerial skills there... He needs to learn how to handle a negative situation esp, for the client & tell that are trying to attract ! Disappointed in service and staff's lack of knowledge especially surrounding a food allergy. Upon arrival for our 630pm reservation, we were greeted with a pager even though there were plenty of available tables. Once seated and ready to order, the server was not knowledgeable of the menu stating "I think so, but I could be wrong." on a few occasions. Fantastic renovation without a doubt but the place has serious service/management issues. What good is a restaurant that can't serve food on their gorgeous outdoor deck on a beautiful August Sunday? Not to mention a long wait for the nearly empty indoor section. I can't say if the food is good or not because we left like many others. I took my party and money to another nearby establishment. I was there yesterday with some friends for dinner, drinks and dancing and the fish tacos was delicious, your bar outside was amazing and your entertainment we great! The ambiance was very good and the scenery of the marina was great. Your staff was so friendly. We loved our waitress. Look forward to many more times here at the cove!!
We had a good time there , it's a beautiful place for inside and out
Excellent food, service & entertainment. Gorgeous interior with lots of space & reasonable prices! Outside bar & tables a plus for the summer. I went last night with friends and had a great time. Parking lot was full, but they offer valet service. I would highly recommend.
I've been three times now and the food was good. Service needs definite improvement and customer service is not up to par. Management seemed to just walk around and not attentive to any of our complaints. I hope they get on top of these issues before it continues any further.
Appetizers were delicious . Steak tips delicious. Long wait and ok waitstaff should get better ... ill b back .....
This place is actually a really great spot. It would have gotten 4 stars if it weren't for their underperforming staff. I think inexperience may play a role there. First time there our waitress seemed young and like this was her first restaurant job but she was very nice. Bar service was a little slow. Last night had a great waitress on the back deck (I wish I could remember her name) but more than one bartender didn't know what they had behind the rail live music and the location are big savers for this joint.
