Set in an old lake lodge, the County Line on the Lake is right on Bull Creek just off Lake Austin, and has been well known for years as the place in Austin to take out-of-town guests. Cocktails on the large redwood deck over- looking the water are a must. We have live music every night on the patio so come down and enjoy live music and the BBQ on the lake!

This place is great. If you go during the day, request a table near the back windows for a great view of the water. The ribs are my favorite.
I've been going to this place since the mid 1980's and only time I was disappointed was when they would be out of my favorite, beef ribs. Good food, good atmosphere. When ever we go into Austin, County Line is where we stop to eat.
Very great BBQ! but let's talk about the hostess as soon as you go in. THEY ARE SO RUDE! they look at you like they don't want you there because your Hispanic. They don't ask you how your doing or smile at you at all they completely ignore you. They just roll their eyes at you and sit you down anywhere. I do love the waitresses though they are the sweetest !
Some of the worst ribs I ever had. Had to use the knife to cut the meet off the bone and took 40 min to get the food. There are better choices in Austin... Avoid
Great place..atmosphere..and awesome setting.. Best place for having an event or just fun for 2 or a family gathering---
The food was delicious. The view is awesome. Fast service. Our 3rd time there. Best food this time.
