Set in an old lake lodge, the County Line on the Lake is right on Bull Creek just off Lake Austin, and has been well known for years as the place in Austin to take out-of-town guests. Cocktails on the large redwood deck over- looking the water are a must. We have live music every night on the patio so come down and enjoy live music and the BBQ on the lake!

Have eaten at the County Line through the years. Location was off my beaten path but was in the area yesterday. Must say disappointed in my beef brisket and beef rib. It tasted more like baked with smoke flavored flavors other than a real BBQ pit smoked meat. Cole Slaw recipe has changed, it use to be awesome. Blackberry cobbler tasted like a Sysco product not made in house, Crust thick, cobble little flavor. Ice Cream was good. The turkey was moist and flavorful, but nothing else on the plate was worth mentioning. The BBQ sauce was watery and bland. Next time I'm invited to the County Line, I'll just have a Margarita. I can't imagine going there (again) on my own volition.

I officiated and provided music for a wedding here on Saturday and the staff was impeccably gracious and helpful - Sarah was astounding in anything that was needed, and the bartenders, Jake and another, a girl whom I didn't catch her name, were extremely friendly and helpful. Not only did they assist the guests with anything they needed, but they were helpful with me and able to answer questions or just provide anything needed.
