Set in an old lake lodge, the County Line on the Lake is right on Bull Creek just off Lake Austin, and has been well known for years as the place in Austin to take out-of-town guests. Cocktails on the large redwood deck over- looking the water are a must. We have live music every night on the patio so come down and enjoy live music and the BBQ on the lake!

Native Texan. I don't like traditional BBQ
Has become a Must-have when visiting Austin. ...love the food
Tried the pulled pork, sausage, and 2nd cut brisket. All had nice flavor and texture. The potato salad was allright, too chunky for my taste. The coleslaw was ok too. I would go back and bybass the sides, head straight for the meats. Oh, and the desserts.....they were great! Bread pudding, kahlua brownie, and cobbler...were excellent!
Had to drop rating to 4 stars. Chicken was pretty dry last time I went.
Food was great of course but service was a bit lacking and didn't like that I had to pay extra for veggies instead of potatoe w my salmon.
Awesome smoked chicken...worth the visit. Nice views of river from patio.
I give it a 4-1/2. The sides were all made from scratch and the BBQ was seasoned and smoked just right. The views by the water were beautiful too. The waitstaff was very good and courteous which is very important to me. You won't be disappointed.
YUM! Beautiful location excellent BBQ and a great staff. We hope to come back often!
