This was our first time in Pittsburgh, so we were looking for some place with good food and within walking distance to our hotel. We were extremely happy with The Commoner. The food was fantastic and the staff was really helpful and genuine. We were seated at their "chef's counter" and had the opportunity to chat with the kitchen staff as they cooked. Swanky vibe...nice place. The service was impeccable....my Manhattan was perfect...the Butter Lettuce salad was absolutely delicious...and my burger was served to me RAW! I ordered a medium turn...not even close! It wasn't even warm. How do you screw up a freaking burger? Soooo disappointing! This is what happens in this type of trendy place! We enjoyed everything about it. We decided to grab a quick dinner in-house before the show, 52 Up Close. The show was amazing, as well! We will be back, again and again!
