We've been to common Man a number of times. I think this is the second time we've been to this particular one. Love the location. It's an old house and barn that probably goes back to the early 1800s. Absolutely huge fireplace but it's springtime so it's shut down for the season but it's an actual wood-burning fireplace. Enjoyed the upbeat energy of the server. I had the steak tip powerhouse salad. I had marinated steak and fresh greens. A nice change from a full steak dinner. My wife enjoyed the corn and bacon ravioli and mother in law had the chicken potpie.. the crust was alight an tasty biscuit and the filling is what you want in a pot pie
Unfortunately, we were seated near a private room [very open area]where the patrons in that area were a bit loud. I'm not sure why the host seated us there, as the restaurant was not full.
Great place for a relaxed home cooked meal on the road. Had a business dinner tonight and our waitress was awesome and food was great as well
