I recently underwent a double mastectomy with reconstruction and spent three days in the hospital. Dr. Jennifer Manders and Dr. Ergun Kocak were amazing surgeons! They both came by and seen me everyday in the hospital postop and made changes to my medications to manage my pain levels better. The nurses at Christ were all very caring and compassionate and always offered to help whenever they could. This experience was one of the hardest of my life but having such amazing staff to help me thru it made it much easier to handle.... read more

My husband just had a hip replacement surgery. He got the best care. He has had 4 operations in past 5 yrs but 1st ever at Christ. Glad we made the 25mile trek. It started out and kudos to Patti in pre op who actually got his IV in the very 1st try. He has had terrible experiences in the past from other hospitals. One 5 different nurses who stuck him 13 times and finally gave up and had to use a ultrasound machine to find the veins. His surgeon was excellent and he got to home the very next day! ! After about 6 days in the hospital for a ruptured appendix and peritonitis, I'm back home and in good shape, abdominal drain souvenir and all. I just want to thank The Christ Hospital for making me feel like the only patient in the hospital. The nurses and techs in 5 South went far beyond their job descriptions to provide tremendous care. I always felt comfortable and in high spirits, thanks to their care team. Most don't have the stomach or heart to do what they do, day in and day out. And few do it as well as those at TCH.
Love TCH! Did my IM residency there 1999-2002 and enjoyed it, made great friends and cherish the memories!

Allowed our 58 year old mom to die due to the incompetent ICU Dr and his negligence. Ohio heart helped the ICU Dr as he admitted he didn't know what to do! The place doesn't need to allow anyone else to die due to these factors! Stay away from here if u or a loved is sick! There will be justice for her someday! May God help these people come to peace because they know what they done!
Sorry but the nurses here were nice and all but this hospital as well as the Dr's at ohio heart let my mom die. The ICU Dr admitted to me he didn't know what to do for my mom because he wasn't a cardiologist. End result was my 58 year old mothers death. Incompetent and negligence. But it's far from over. Wouldn't recommend this hospital to a friends dog. See the administration very soon as the negligent death of my mom is far from over.
