I was here for a 2 week rehabilitation program the summer of 2003. I was one of the first people in the area diagnosed with Reflex Neurovascular Dystrophy (RND) and was referred to the Children's Institute. Every therapist, nurse, aid, roommate I met changed my life and helped me to break the constant pain cycle. They even had an afternoon set aside that all of my therapists and I walked down to the baseball field and played softball! I taught there for 15 years and was surrounded by the most compassionate group of people you would ever meet in your life and the most innovative people ever always coming up with new ideas to help the kids they served
Awful people to established patients. The newer group of office attendants are horrible and uncaring people. Do not recommend.
I once was a student there I graduated in 1993 I have been looking for some of my friends I made there for a few years now

the most respectful loving and caring therapist that does an awesome job with the therapy that my son receives they treat everyone like family THANK ALL OF YOU SO MUCH
my daughter Mary Jane was there 1985. my dad and I carried her in. she walked out 6 months later . traumatic brain injury in car wreck at 14 yr old. 6 weeks unconscious. certainly not a vegetable as predicted. this Children's Institute gave her back to me. best healthcare and rehab in the world. love to all who give so much there.
