My daughter was here for the last 3 nights because of an unknown fever and I just feel like I left again without any answers. They did lots of blood work but she ended up getting released today without answers. A lot of her blood work was still elevated and I am still concerned even though her fever did go away. Mostly good. You really need to have all private rooms. Besides disruption and awkwardness, the room was just too crowded with furniture and equipment for two patients. We did have issues with one nurse, but the rest were amazing (as usual)!

Number 1 choice for my kids for care. When you can suture a lac in my 3 yo and from start to finish no tears (and make her so comfortable that she didn't need sedation) , A plus in my book. She also sees the allergy dept there (we LOVE Dr. Fried!) and everyone throughout the hospital from maintenance staff, registration , and providers provide thorough compassionate, pediatric care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do.

My son, Tom has Aspergers Syndrome (now classified as autism) and a genetic disease called Tuberous Sclerosis and he needs an annual brain MRI to monitor the masses in his brain. To say he has a needle phobia is an understatement and with him being tall and 16 years old now, I worry about him hurting himself or staff when we have to perform this test. My first time at BCH and the staff at the MICU cared for my son like he was the President. Did they care for my comfort and my wife's, absolutely but the patient was King and every employee involved on the 11th floor was courteous, professional and empathetic. Thank You ALL!
First you have to break through the invisible wall but than you are in the medical heaven :o)
